The route from Poland
The shortest way from Łódź to Romania runs through Slovakia and Hungary, crossing the Hungarian-Romanian border at points such as Nădlac or Borș. The rest of the route depends on the delivery address.
Where Romanian business is
The largest centres are Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara and Arad. Western Romania, close to the Hungarian border, is home to many manufacturing plants. We plan each delivery to the receiver’s exact address.
Tolls and rules for vans
In Romania every vehicle using national roads needs an electronic vignette, the rovinieta. In transit, Slovak and Hungarian e-vignettes are required.
Documents
Romania is in the European Union and, since 1 January 2025, fully in the Schengen area, including land borders. Its currency is the Romanian leu. Goods do not go through customs clearance. We carry under a CMR consignment note and the documents agreed with the receiver.
